334 state approved programs by city, with start dates and published prices from featured partners.
Georgia has 334 nurse aide training programs across 142 cities, every one of them on the state approved roster. The largest clusters are in Valdosta (23), Macon (22) and Waycross (13), and most other cities have one or two programs within a short drive.
Most are run by community and technical colleges (106), private training schools (98) and high schools (53). Nursing home programs are often free in exchange for working there after you certify, while schools and colleges publish a price and accept workforce vouchers.
Georgia requires 85 hours of training, including 24 hours of supervised clinical practice. After class you take the state exam through Credentia, which costs $130 for both parts, and your name goes on the state nurse aide registry. Classroom theory can be taught online, but lab and clinical hours are in person.
