- Patient Care TechnicianAssists with patient care across clinical settings, monitoring vital signs, performing basic procedures, and supporting nurses with hands-on care.
- Medical AssistantProvides clinical and administrative support in physician offices and clinics, including those of podiatrists, chiropractors, and optometrists. Rooms patients, takes vitals, assists with procedures, and manages office tasks.
- EKG TechnicianPerforms electrocardiogram (EKG) testing to record the heart's electrical activity for diagnosis. Operates and maintains EKG equipment, conducts stress tests, and prepares patients for cardiac monitoring.
- Phlebotomy TechnicianLearn the art of blood and specimen collection, a vital skill in healthcare. Complete the program, obtain certification, and embark on a rewarding career as a Phlebotomist.
Before you enroll
- Get the cost sheet. Tuition, books, supplies, exam fee, and any background check, itemized.
- Ask about the next two start dates. A voucher can take two to six weeks, so pick the class after your approval, not before.
- Ask if it is on the approved list. If not, the school can apply. Many small programs have never filed.
